We stay here several times a year while visiting family in Huntsville. Every other time, I would rate them 5 stars. This time I only rated them 4 stars due to their breakfast. My go to always for breakfast is the oatmeal. This time the oatmeal was mostly water with a few flakes of oatmeal both mornings we were there. I don't even think it was hot. My next go to was the pancakes, which were great the first morning. The second morning, the pancake machine was broken. The rooms were very clean & the staff was friendly. It even looks like they refurbished the place since our last visit.
I was there visiting my son. The accommodations were good. My only complaint is that there was just a sheet and a heavy heart comforter on the bed. It would be nice if they had a medium weight blanket. There may have been one in the closet, I really don’t know. The staff was friendly and the coffee was good. Overall it was a good stay.
Very nice on-base hotel on Redstone Arsenal. It was extremely quiet during my stay, and the suite was large and fully appointed. I will definitely try to stay here again next time I am in Huntsville. It's way better than any off base hotel I've stayed at in the area.
As a veteran and retiree, I don't look for the most frills in my lodging choices. I do like the ihg lodging options especially when I travel. I've stayed at this location several times over my military career. Always good service, quiet, respectful staff and friendly. I am well pleased with the value for my money. The room was plenty spacious and super clean. The entire hotel was very well kept and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast wasn't anything over the top but was decent and not super crowded on a Saturday morning. We didn't swim but the pool looked very clean. I would love to stay here again but wish they had more availability.
Probably the best Army lodging I've stayed at, but, let's be honest, that's not setting the bar too high. It's still a great hotel. The rooms are good size suites/studios with a kitchenette including fridge, stove top, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and a good enough selection of dishes, pots, & pans. They have a "lending locker" where you can check out additional small appliances like crock pots, toaster ovens, blenders, etc. They have two large grills too. The daily breakfast has plenty of options along with coffee 24/7, which is great. Internet speed is pretty good with wireless and wired connectivity (over 100Mbps). It's slower during peak usage times, but still adequate.
What a fantastic hotel facility! We stayed here with our family for a personal trip and it was excellent! Very family friendly, puts Air Force Inns to shame haha. The room had lots of great features, a whole kitchenette, lots of shelves and hanging hooks, a full size fridge, spacious. Board games and toys for borrowing in the lobby. Fantastic breakfast. Close to the BX and the library which has a big duplo block setup for kids. Within 10 minutes drive of the US Space and Rocket Center. 15 minutes to most of Huntsville. I was impressed and delighted. When we make.another trip to Huntsville we will absolutely stay here again!
